# Give Us This Day vs BeADisciple

The clearest difference is rating: BeADisciple at 4.1 against Give Us This Day's 3.5. BeADisciple also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Give Us This Day's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Give Us This Day sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and BeADisciple sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BeADisciple holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Give Us This Day has 86 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Give Us This Day's written reviews are positive against 0% of BeADisciple's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Give Us This Day ships an update every 3 weeks, BeADisciple every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
