# 몰테일 vs 7Customs

The clearest difference is rating: 7Customs at 5.0 against 몰테일's 3.7. 7Customs also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). 몰테일's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (82% vs 58%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

7Customs holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 몰테일 has 82 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of 몰테일's written reviews are positive against 58% of 7Customs's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

몰테일 ships an update every 4 months, 7Customs fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
