# myday vs uMatter

The clearest difference is update cadence: myday at every 2 months against uMatter's every 4 months. myday also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). uMatter's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. myday sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and uMatter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for myday against 5.0 for uMatter. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: uMatter has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

myday ships an update every 2 months, uMatter every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
