# Mr Checkers vs Checkers ‣

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mr Checkers at 78% against Checkers ‣'s 42%. Mr Checkers also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 11 months). Checkers ‣'s advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (3.5K vs 31). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mr Checkers sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.49 per year and Checkers ‣ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Checkers ‣ holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Checkers ‣ has 3.5K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Mr Checkers's written reviews are positive against 42% of Checkers ‣'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mr Checkers ships an update every 2 months, Checkers ‣ every 11 months. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
