# memono Journal vs Onlynote

The clearest difference is ads: memono Journal at none against Onlynote's shown. memono Journal also leads on review sentiment (85% vs 75%) and ratings volume (301 vs 93). Onlynote's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. memono Journal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 3 months and Onlynote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Onlynote holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 301 and 93 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of memono Journal's written reviews are positive against 75% of Onlynote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
