# Impact by Focusrite vs Mobile HandyShare

The clearest difference is rating: Mobile HandyShare at 4.0 against Impact by Focusrite's 3.1. Impact by Focusrite's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (40 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mobile HandyShare holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Impact by Focusrite has 40 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Impact by Focusrite's written reviews are positive against 25% of Mobile HandyShare's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Impact by Focusrite ships an update every 3 months, Mobile HandyShare every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
