# Water Tracker vs Ninja Water Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Ninja Water Tracker at 5.0 against Water Tracker's 4.2. Water Tracker's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Water Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Ninja Water Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ninja Water Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Water Tracker has 1.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Water Tracker's written reviews are positive against 50% of Ninja Water Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Water Tracker ships an update every 8 days, Ninja Water Tracker weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
