# SwitchBox App vs FBOlink

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SwitchBox App at 67% against FBOlink's 8%. SwitchBox App also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and iOS requirement (13 vs 15.6). FBOlink's advantage is rating (3.6 vs 3.4). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FBOlink sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. SwitchBox App asks for nothing beyond the download.

FBOlink holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of SwitchBox App's written reviews are positive against 8% of FBOlink's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
