# Colored Note vs Remind Me

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Remind Me at 83% against Colored Note's 54%. Colored Note's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Colored Note holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Colored Note has 5K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Colored Note's written reviews are positive against 83% of Remind Me's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Colored Note ships an update weekly, Remind Me every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
