# ParentSquare vs MyOLS

ParentSquare and MyOLS both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of MyOLS's written reviews are positive against 51% of ParentSquare's. MyOLS also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). ParentSquare's advantage is ratings volume (100K vs 9) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for ParentSquare against 4.6 for MyOLS. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ParentSquare has 100K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 51% of ParentSquare's written reviews are positive against 100% of MyOLS's.

ParentSquare ships an update weekly, MyOLS every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
