# BandPad vs DrumToolz

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BandPad at 100% against DrumToolz's 58%. BandPad also leads on iOS requirement (6.0 vs 14.0). DrumToolz's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (311 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DrumToolz holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DrumToolz has 311 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of BandPad's written reviews are positive against 58% of DrumToolz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
