# Switcher vs Larix Broadcaster

The clearest difference is rating: Switcher at 4.6 against Larix Broadcaster's 3.6. Switcher also leads on ratings volume (2.4K vs 131). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Switcher sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $64.99 per month and Larix Broadcaster sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Switcher holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Switcher has 2.4K ratings behind it against 131, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of Switcher's written reviews are positive against 56% of Larix Broadcaster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Switcher ships an update every 2 weeks, Larix Broadcaster every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
