# Switcher vs CameraFi Live

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Switcher at 2.4K against CameraFi Live's 316. CameraFi Live's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Switcher sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $64.99 per month and CameraFi Live sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Switcher holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Switcher has 2.4K ratings behind it against 316, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 49% of Switcher's written reviews are positive against 43% of CameraFi Live's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
