# WIFI vs Wi

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WIFI at none against Wi's 1. WIFI also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Wi's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 5 weeks). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. WIFI asks for nothing beyond the download.

WIFI ships an update every 5 weeks, Wi every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
