# Hayom vs Shabbat Time

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shabbat Time at every 5 days against Hayom's every 4 months. Hayom's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hayom ships an update every 4 months, Shabbat Time every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
