# Wimage vs DigiPet

The clearest difference is rating: Wimage at 5.0 against DigiPet's 1.0. Wimage also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). DigiPet's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wimage sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and DigiPet sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wimage holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 2 respectively.

Wimage ships an update every 5 weeks, DigiPet fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
