# Favorites Widget Pro vs Fun Widget

The clearest difference is ads: Favorites Widget Pro at none against Fun Widget's shown. Favorites Widget Pro also leads on ratings volume (3.8K vs 25) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). Fun Widget's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 73%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Favorites Widget Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Fun Widget sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Favorites Widget Pro against 4.5 for Fun Widget. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Favorites Widget Pro has 3.8K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of Favorites Widget Pro's written reviews are positive against 83% of Fun Widget's.

Favorites Widget Pro ships an update every 4 days, Fun Widget fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
