# Favorites Widget Pro vs Lockscreen

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Lockscreen at none against Favorites Widget Pro's 1. Lockscreen also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Favorites Widget Pro's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (3.8K vs 59). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Favorites Widget Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Lockscreen asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Favorites Widget Pro against 4.5 for Lockscreen. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Favorites Widget Pro has 3.8K ratings behind it against 59, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of Favorites Widget Pro's written reviews are positive against 67% of Lockscreen's.

Favorites Widget Pro ships an update every 5 days, Lockscreen every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
