# Favorites Widget Pro vs LockMe

The clearest difference is monetization model: Favorites Widget Pro at free with in-app purchases against LockMe's subscription. Favorites Widget Pro also leads on review sentiment (73% vs 47%) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). LockMe's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (16.2 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Favorites Widget Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and LockMe sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LockMe holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Favorites Widget Pro has 3.8K ratings behind it against 230, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Favorites Widget Pro's written reviews are positive against 47% of LockMe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Favorites Widget Pro ships an update every 4 days, LockMe every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
