# Hacker Outbreak vs Save The Stickman

The clearest difference is rating: Save The Stickman at 4.6 against Hacker Outbreak's 4.0. Save The Stickman also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 16). Hacker Outbreak's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (56% vs 22%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Save The Stickman holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Save The Stickman has 14K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Hacker Outbreak's written reviews are positive against 22% of Save The Stickman's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hacker Outbreak ships an update every 10 days, Save The Stickman every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
