# ArkVPN vs Authenticator+ App

The clearest difference is rating: Authenticator+ App at 4.5 against ArkVPN's 3.7. Authenticator+ App also leads on ratings volume (3K vs 195). ArkVPN's advantage is review sentiment (79% vs 69%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ArkVPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Authenticator+ App sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Authenticator+ App holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Authenticator+ App has 3K ratings behind it against 195, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of ArkVPN's written reviews are positive against 69% of Authenticator+ App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
