# Tulipsport vs Stryd

The clearest difference is rating: Stryd at 4.0 against Tulipsport's 3.5. Stryd also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (240 vs 8). Tulipsport's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (74% vs 61%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stryd sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per month. Tulipsport asks for nothing beyond the download.

Stryd holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stryd has 240 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Tulipsport's written reviews are positive against 61% of Stryd's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tulipsport ships an update every 3 months, Stryd every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
