# My Study Life vs Class Monster

The clearest difference is rating: My Study Life at 4.5 against Class Monster's 3.1. My Study Life also leads on ratings volume (6.2K vs 8). Class Monster's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Study Life sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Class Monster asks for nothing beyond the download.

My Study Life holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Study Life has 6.2K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of My Study Life's written reviews are positive against 67% of Class Monster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
