# My Study Life vs JD Flashcards

The clearest difference is rating: My Study Life at 4.5 against JD Flashcards's 4.0. My Study Life also leads on ratings volume (6.2K vs 5). JD Flashcards's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.2 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Study Life sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and JD Flashcards sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Study Life holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Study Life has 6.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of My Study Life's written reviews are positive against 67% of JD Flashcards's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Study Life ships an update every 9 days, JD Flashcards fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
