# Draft Paper vs SherMatch+

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Draft Paper at 51% against SherMatch+'s 26%. Draft Paper also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). SherMatch+'s advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Draft Paper sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SherMatch+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SherMatch+ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16K and 6.8K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Draft Paper's written reviews are positive against 26% of SherMatch+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Draft Paper ships an update every 2 weeks, SherMatch+ every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
