# Draft Paper vs Cabinet AI

The clearest difference is rating: Cabinet AI at 5.0 against Draft Paper's 4.4. Cabinet AI also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). Draft Paper's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Draft Paper sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cabinet AI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cabinet AI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Draft Paper has 16K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Draft Paper ships an update weekly, Cabinet AI every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
