# XuetangX vs UM Touch

The clearest difference is review sentiment: XuetangX at 57% against UM Touch's 9%. XuetangX also leads on ratings volume (294 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). UM Touch's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. XuetangX sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. UM Touch asks for nothing beyond the download.

UM Touch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XuetangX has 294 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of XuetangX's written reviews are positive against 9% of UM Touch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

XuetangX ships an update every 6 weeks, UM Touch every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
