# Sheeel vs Maqadhe

The clearest difference is ads: Sheeel at none against Maqadhe's shown. Sheeel also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (12K vs 3K). Maqadhe's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Maqadhe holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12K and 3K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Sheeel's written reviews are positive against 41% of Maqadhe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
