# Satellite Remote vs fanSync WiFi

The clearest difference is rating: Satellite Remote at 2.3 against fanSync WiFi's 1.4. Satellite Remote also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). fanSync WiFi's advantage is ratings volume (58 vs 3) and review sentiment (10% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Satellite Remote holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 1.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: fanSync WiFi has 58 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Satellite Remote's written reviews are positive against 10% of fanSync WiFi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
