# Daily Progress vs The Progress

The clearest difference is rating: Daily Progress at 4.8 against The Progress's 4.1. Daily Progress also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 18.6). The Progress's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Progress sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Daily Progress asks for nothing beyond the download.

Daily Progress holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Daily Progress's written reviews are positive against 100% of The Progress's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Daily Progress ships an update every 5 months, The Progress monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
