# Brilliant vs Geometry Tutor

The clearest difference is ads: Geometry Tutor at none against Brilliant's shown. Geometry Tutor also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 79%). Brilliant's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (33K vs 4). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brilliant sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Geometry Tutor sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
