# Brilliant vs SkillBite

The clearest difference is rating: Brilliant at 4.7 against SkillBite's 3.5. Brilliant also leads on review sentiment (79% vs 50%) and ratings volume (33K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brilliant sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and SkillBite sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brilliant holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brilliant has 33K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 79% of Brilliant's written reviews are positive against 50% of SkillBite's.

Brilliant ships an update weekly, SkillBite every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
