# Joyous vs Hamara Restaurant

The clearest difference is rating: Joyous at 4.6 against Hamara Restaurant's 3.0. Joyous also leads on ratings volume (531 vs 2). Hamara Restaurant's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 69%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Joyous holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Joyous has 531 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Joyous's written reviews are positive against 100% of Hamara Restaurant's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
