# Leanpub vs Syncfusion Succinctly Series

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Syncfusion Succinctly Series at 67% against Leanpub's 13%. Syncfusion Succinctly Series also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). Leanpub's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Leanpub holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Syncfusion Succinctly Series has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Leanpub's written reviews are positive against 67% of Syncfusion Succinctly Series's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Leanpub ships an update monthly, Syncfusion Succinctly Series fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
