# Airtable vs Aphid

Airtable and Aphid both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Aphid's written reviews are positive against 59% of Airtable's. Aphid also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Airtable's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, update cadence and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aphid sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Airtable asks for nothing beyond the download.

Aphid holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Airtable has 25K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of Airtable's written reviews are positive against 100% of Aphid's.

Airtable ships an update fortnightly, Aphid every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
