# Airtable vs ChalkPay for Teachers

Airtable and ChalkPay for Teachers both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of ChalkPay for Teachers's written reviews are positive against 59% of Airtable's. ChalkPay for Teachers also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Airtable's advantage is ratings volume (25K vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ChalkPay for Teachers holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Airtable has 25K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
