# DSLR Camera vs Luwian

The clearest difference is price: Luwian at Free against DSLR Camera's $2.99. Luwian also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). DSLR Camera's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and chart position (#119 vs unranked). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Luwian is free to download; DSLR Camera costs $2.99 up front. DSLR Camera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Luwian sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DSLR Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DSLR Camera has 2.9K ratings behind it against 354, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DSLR Camera ships an update every 2 months, Luwian every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
