# One More Line vs Cub8

The clearest difference is ads: One More Line at none against Cub8's shown. One More Line also leads on ratings volume (890 vs 58) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 13.0). Cub8's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (63% vs 45%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. One More Line sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cub8 sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

One More Line holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: One More Line has 890 ratings behind it against 58, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of One More Line's written reviews are positive against 63% of Cub8's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

One More Line ships an update every 3 weeks, Cub8 every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
