# Metapho vs Image Optimizer

The clearest difference is rating: Metapho at 4.6 against Image Optimizer's 1.0. Metapho also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 1). Image Optimizer's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Metapho sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Image Optimizer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Metapho holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Metapho has 2.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
