# Metapho vs FixMyExport

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FixMyExport at 100% against Metapho's 61%. FixMyExport also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Metapho's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 3) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Metapho sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year and FixMyExport sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FixMyExport holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Metapho has 2.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 61% of Metapho's written reviews are positive against 100% of FixMyExport's.

Metapho ships an update every 2 months, FixMyExport every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
