# Allente vs Strim

The clearest difference is rating: Allente at 5.0 against Strim's 4.2. Allente also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Strim's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Allente holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Strim has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Allente ships an update monthly, Strim fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
