# Cheatsheet vs Complication Lab

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Cheatsheet at 81% against Complication Lab's 23%. Cheatsheet also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cheatsheet sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Complication Lab sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cheatsheet holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cheatsheet has 1.9K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of Cheatsheet's written reviews are positive against 23% of Complication Lab's.

Cheatsheet ships an update fortnightly, Complication Lab every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
