# Cheatsheet vs Quick Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Quick Notes at every 4 days against Cheatsheet's every 2 weeks. Quick Notes also leads on device support (5 vs 3). Cheatsheet's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 295). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cheatsheet sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Quick Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Cheatsheet against 4.8 for Quick Notes. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cheatsheet has 1.9K ratings behind it against 295, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 81% of Cheatsheet's written reviews are positive against 77% of Quick Notes's.

Cheatsheet ships an update every 2 weeks, Quick Notes every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 1, 2026.
