# Parental Control App vs SeTracker

The clearest difference is rating: Parental Control App at 4.3 against SeTracker's 3.4. Parental Control App also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (40K vs 1.2K). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Parental Control App sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and SeTracker sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Parental Control App holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parental Control App has 40K ratings behind it against 1.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Parental Control App's written reviews are positive against 26% of SeTracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
