# Parental Control App vs Authenticator Password

The clearest difference is rating: Authenticator Password at 4.7 against Parental Control App's 4.3. Parental Control App's advantage is ratings volume (40K vs 6) and chart position (#166 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Parental Control App sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Authenticator Password sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
