# Seafood Guide vs Rapport

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Seafood Guide at none against Rapport's 1. Rapport's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rapport sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $11.99 per month. Seafood Guide asks for nothing beyond the download.

Seafood Guide ships an update every 7 months, Rapport every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
