# ZOTFinder vs CHP

The clearest difference is update cadence: ZOTFinder at monthly against CHP's every 12 months. ZOTFinder also leads on ratings volume (268 vs 6) and review sentiment (61% vs 50%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.1 for ZOTFinder against 4.2 for CHP. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZOTFinder has 268 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 61% of ZOTFinder's written reviews are positive against 50% of CHP's.

ZOTFinder ships an update monthly, CHP every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
