# DinosaurCo AR vs DinoAR3D

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DinoAR3D at 100% against DinosaurCo AR's 33%. DinosaurCo AR's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.3) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DinosaurCo AR holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of DinosaurCo AR's written reviews are positive against 100% of DinoAR3D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DinosaurCo AR ships an update monthly, DinoAR3D every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
