# EyeOnWater vs WasteWizard

EyeOnWater and WasteWizard both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of WasteWizard's written reviews are positive against 56% of EyeOnWater's. EyeOnWater's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (44K vs 4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for EyeOnWater against 4.8 for WasteWizard. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EyeOnWater has 44K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of EyeOnWater's written reviews are positive against 100% of WasteWizard's.

EyeOnWater ships an update every 3 weeks, WasteWizard every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
