# EyeOnWater vs PLOT

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EyeOnWater at none against PLOT's 1. EyeOnWater also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). PLOT's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PLOT sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. EyeOnWater asks for nothing beyond the download.

EyeOnWater ships an update every 3 weeks, PLOT weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
